Donation Stations

Please donate your unwanted devices at one of our Donation Stations!

We accept any unwanted desktops, laptops and tablets that you may have at your home or business. We also accept Smartphones which we distribute through partner organisations.

In order to be able to refurbish a Laptop, it will need to run a Windows 7, 8 or 10 Operating System at a minimum.

We will also need the matching charging cable for the device, but we cannot accept these if the cable is damaged, or any of the internal wires are exposed.

The Laptop screen and trackpad will need to be working and undamaged for us to be able to refurbish them.

If a BIOS Admin Password has been set, we ask that this is removed prior to donating the laptop to us.

In order to be able to refurbish a PC, it will need to be able to run the Windows 7, 8 or 10 Operating System at a minimum.

If you have a working power supply, monitor, VGA cable or display lead, USB mouse & keyboard for the PC, we would appreciate these being donated as well.

Other peripherals such as webcams, headsets or microphones can also be accepted but are not required.

If a BIOS Admin Password has been set, we ask that this is removed prior to donating the computer to us.

If possible, please ensure that any donated Tablets have had their passwords removed and are factory reset before being donated.

Information on how to factory reset a tablet can be found below:

For Apple Devices, Please ensure that both Tablets and Smartphones are not Activation Locked by signing out with your Apple ID before Factory Resetting them

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept any printers, photocopiers, unsorted cables, CDs or other misc electronics.

If you are unsure if we can accept your device, please contact us at info@wiltshiredigitaldrive.org

Where Next?

It could be you!

If you own a business in Wiltshire and would like to partner with us to become a Donation Station, please get in touch with us at info@wiltshiredigitaldrive.org to find out how you can get involved!

Other Information:

If your device does not meet the minimum operating system requirements, we still accept devices with older operating systems, as we are able to recycle these to ensure they don’t go to landfill.

We ensure that every piece of technology donated is tested and securely wiped. If a machine isn’t feasible to upgrade, we will remove all reusable parts and recycle the rest, so nothing goes to waste.
