Accessible Laptops for Everyone

Welcome to Wiltshire Digital Drive.

We’re a Community Interest Company on a mission to fix the digital divide by 2030 while tackling the UK’s growing e-waste problem. We do this by refurbishing and redistributing second hand tech (laptops, computers, tablets and phone) free of charge. By doing so, we enable education, reduce isolation and support community wealth.

We work alongside schools, charities, organisations and council services across Wiltshire and the Southwest to connect our devices with those that need it most.
Apply For Tech

We are very proud of our numbers.

Devices are distributed through referring agencies, using our application form. Donations come from local businesses and members of the public via our donation stations.

Help us to keep the buzz…

We are always looking for support

From device donations to volunteer time, corporate sponsorship and media mentions. Take a look at how you can support the work we do in your community to fix digital poverty and tackle the UK’s e-waste problem.

Businesses and members of the public donate their pre-loved tech
Test and Wipe

All devices are wiped to government standards and graded to decide the best route for re-use
Refurbish or Recycle

Any devices we can’t use are directed to our recycling partners who operate a zero-landfill policy. Precious metals are stripped out to go back into the manufacturing stream, reducing the need for virgin mining on the planet.
Match and Deliver

Our team works tirelessly to match devices to applicants with a variety of needs.

Where it all bee-gan!

“Our mission and purpose; just like a bee moves pollen from flower to flower to help the environment, we move technology from person to person to tackle the climate crisis, enable education and enhance community wealth.”

Bee the difference

You can help us achieve more,

We are always looking for funding through donations to help us cover the cost of upgrading and refurbishing devices.

The parts required to upgrade a machine include replacement of The Hard Drive, Memory and Wi-Fi modules, as well as providing a laptop bag to make transport, storage and protection of the devices easier!

We can also replace faulty components such as keyboards, monitors and chargers when needed, which these funds also support!

£30 could help us securely wipe, update, and refurbish one laptop that will go directly to a young person or family in need, in Wiltshire.
