About Wiltshire Digital Drive

Wiltshire Digital Drive is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to refurbish and recycle donated laptops to gift back to the community, enabling education in Wiltshire and bridging the digital divide.

About the role:
Do you love driving and meeting new people? We need a volunteer driver for 2 days to make collections and deliveries of laptops in and around the Wiltshire area.

Key Duties:

  • Collecting laptops from donation stations and corporate donors and taking them to our IT provider to be refurbished.
  • Delivering laptops to successful applicants, including schools, community organisations, charities and individuals.
  • Acting in a way which protects your and others’ health and safety.

About you:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional and reliable.
  • Able to organise collection/delivery routes to make best use of time.
  • You will have a clean driving licence and own transport.

Hours and expenses:

  • We require someone to volunteer for two days a week on an ongoing basis – there is flexibility for the hours to spread across more than two days to suit your needs.
  • Initially we will pay mileage expenses for you to use your own vehicle. However, the intention is to have a Wiltshire Digital Drive vehicle in due course.

For more information and to apply please contact us by email at info@wiltshiredigitaldrive.org or complete our contact form.
